Frances Alvarez was honored with the Leader of Today Award at the 2026 Tribal Leadership Conference.
Presented by the Tribal Leadership Council, the award recognizes her leadership, service, and sustained contributions across Indian Country. Through her work with the National Native American Hall of Fame, the Tribal Gaming Protection Network, and her mentorship of Native women, Frances continues to help strengthen communities and cultivate future leaders.
