FAQ
What does “fractional tribal relations support” mean?
Fractional tribal relations support provides experienced tribal relations capacity without the structure or cost of a full-time hire. Organizations gain access to qualified professionals on a part-time or embedded basis, aligned to their stage of readiness and scope of engagement.
Does Rezonate represent organizations to Tribal Nations?
No. Rezonate does not represent organizations, facilitate outreach, or act on behalf of companies in dealings with Tribal Nations. Our role is to prepare organizations and, when appropriate, support alignment with qualified tribal relations professionals through a fractional model.
How is this different from consulting or brokering?
Traditional consulting often focuses on strategy alone, while brokering focuses on access. Rezonate’s fractional model focuses on capacity-building—ensuring organizations have the right expertise, roles, and readiness in place to engage appropriately over time.
When is fractional tribal relations support appropriate?
Fractional support is appropriate after an organization has completed readiness training and demonstrated alignment with ethical engagement principles. It is best suited for organizations with ongoing or emerging tribal engagement that requires sustained expertise and guidance.
Who are the tribal relations professionals Rezonate works with?
Rezonate aligns organizations with trusted, qualified tribal relations professionals who have experience working across Tribal Nations, understand governance and cultural context, and uphold ethical engagement standards. Professionals are matched based on fit, scope, and readiness—not availability alone.
Does fractional support guarantee partnerships or outcomes?
No. Readiness training and fractional support do not guarantee partnerships, approvals, or outcomes. Engagement with Tribal Nations is sovereign, relationship-based, and determined by Tribal leadership.
Can organizations skip training and go directly to fractional support?
No. Completion of readiness training is required before advisory retainers or fractional tribal relations support. This ensures a shared foundation, clear expectations, and alignment before any deeper engagement occurs.
Is fractional support temporary or ongoing?
Fractional support can be short-term or ongoing, depending on organizational needs, capacity, and readiness. The goal is not dependency, but appropriate support at the right stage.
What if we’re not sure we’re ready for fractional support?
That’s common. Rezonate begins with readiness conversations to help determine the appropriate next step. If fractional support is not yet appropriate, we’ll recommend preparation or alternative pathways.
These answers explain how Rezonate’s readiness-first approach works and how organizations can responsibly prepare for engagement with Tribal Nations.
